Cloudlab Privacy Policy

 

Cloudlab Inc. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides reporting, analytics and tracking services "the Services" to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the Services in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

When you install the Services, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account via the Shopify API. This includes the following:

  • Shop Settings

  • Products/Variants

    • Locations

    • Inventory and Pricing

  • Customers​

    • Includes personal information shared by customers such as name, addresses, phone number and email address.​

    • Includes information about how customers access the merchant website, including information about the device and browser used, network connection, IP address, and details about how customers browse through the merchant website.

  • Orders

    • Fulfillments

    • Payment Transactions

    • Tax Lines​

How Do We Use Your Information?

We use the information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Services. Additionally, we may use your personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services with your consent.

Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?

We do not share your information with any third parties.

We may be required to share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

All requests by governmental entities or parties involved in litigation seeking content data associated with Customers who are under contract with Company should be sent to legal@cloudlab.com.

All requests should include the following information: (a) the requesting party, (b) the relevant criminal or civil matter, and (c) a description of the specific Customer Data being requested, including the relevant Customer’s name and type of data sought.
Requests should be prepared and served in accordance with applicable law. All requests should be focused on the specific Customer Data sought. If legally permitted, Customer will be responsible for any costs arising from Company's response to such requests.

Are You a European Resident?

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 30 days past the termination of the user's account.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, we all know that no method of transmission over the Internet, and method of electronic storage, can be 100% secure.
